Gecko Homes, part of Southway Housing Trust, is delighted to announce that phase one of a new affordable canal side development in Stretford is back underway after a temporary delay.
Known as ‘Edgewater’ this exciting new development of one and two bedroom affordable new apartments at the Royal Canal Works on the Bridgewater canal, is just part of a massive regeneration masterplan of Stretford.
Marketing agency Cast has been working with Gecko Homes since 2022 and was responsible for a full company rebranding project, which has coincided with a number of new developments from the North West developer of affordable housing, operating across Manchester and Cheshire.
Cast has also been responsible for the ‘Edgewater’ brand and marketing campaign. A tentative launch earlier this year proved that this innovative new waterside development was going to be very popular, with an abundance of initial enquiries. After a short delay on site the project is now all systems go and we’ll soon be seeing a roll out of the ‘Edgewater’ campaign, which is designed to attract a diverse mix of people in what is to become a very fashionable community within Stretford.
